Adopt-A-Rookie Program

As we all know, keeping up with the demanding and fast-paced Raiders Band program can be challenging for both students and parents. That's why the Adopt-A-Rookie-Parent program was created to help ease the transition for new parents. The program pairs rookie parents with experienced veteran parents who can offer valuable insight and information about band life. Adopter parents are matched with no more than three rookies and are section-specific, unless there is a shortage of volunteers in a particular section. Adopters serve as a comforting resource for rookies, providing answers to questions and checking in on how things are going.

If you were a rookie parent this year, don't worry - you can still be an Adopter too! In fact, you're encouraged to become an Adopter while your experience is still fresh in your mind.
