Monday, Aug. 31st.

3:45pm - 6:30pm - Band Practice - Horns and Percussion
3:45pm - 7:30pm - Color Guard 


Tuesday, Sept. 1st.

3:45pm - 6:30pm - Band Practice - Horns 
3:45pm - 7:30pm - Color Guard and Percussion Practice


Wednesday, Sept. 2nd.

Braxx Cup order forms and monies turned in during class.

No afternoon Rehearsals, Band Hall Closed

Thursday, Sept. 3rd.

3:45pm - 6:30pm - Band Practice - Horns 
3:45pm - 7:30pm - Color Guard and Percussion Practice.

Friday, Sept. 4th. Away vs. Washington H.S. 

Students will need the following:
Report to school wearing their Alcatraz T-shirt. The guard will wear their black guard t-shirts.
Bring Band Polo, Black socks (completely black calf length socks w/no logos), Khaki Pants, Belt and Marching shoes.
Music Lyre (Instrumentalist)
Everyone should have their water jugs.


Afternoon Schedule
 
3:45pm - 4:15pm  Pre-Game Run Thru
4:00pm - Concessions Volunteers and Chaperones begin to arrive.
                Feed the Raiders Meals arrive. You can order  yours here. The deadline to order a meal deal for students                     and chaperones is Wednesday at 5:00pm. After that, no orders will be taken.

This week was the first time we've had the meal deals and over all, it was a success. We did have a few issues that need to be corrected though, to make it run a little smoother.
  1. When ordering, make sure that a parent and a student aren't both ordering for the same person. We had several double and triple orders. Remember, once we forward the order to Publix and Hungry Howie's, we have entered into an agreement to purchase everything on that order form. You have agreed to purchase everything you ordered. 
  2. Payment - Payment is expected on Friday morning during class. We cannot wait until game time as the food is paid for when it is picked up.
  3. Payment type - We prefer exact cash for meal deals. All other band payments i.e. dues, etc., should be made via check or money order payable to NHS BAND.
  4. We sure could use help in transporting and passing out the food on game day afternoons. It takes to vehicles to carry everything.


4:15pm - 5:30pm Feed the Raiders Meal Deals or Snacks from home. Change into Polos and Khakis.
5:30pm - Load buses and depart for Washington H.S.
6:30pm - 7:10pm Unload and Warm-Up
7:15pm - March into Stadium
7:25pm - National Anthem
7:30pm - Kick-Off
10:00pm - 10:30pm - Game Over, Return to Band Hall and clean.

Students are released as soon as they are finished putting away uniforms and equipment.
A Remind group text will be sent out at the end of the game, students should be ready for pick-up no later than 
30 minutes following the end of the game.
Please pick-up students promptly.

As we are now into our marching season, we will adhere to the following rehearsal schedule. We have found over the past several years that this schedule makes the best use of your student's time as well as the available rehearsal facilities.

Remember, this is a $$$ event and many volunteers and chaperones are needed at home games.  Please visit our Charms calendar here to take sign up.

Students are released as soon as they are finished putting away uniforms and equipment.
