Welcome to the Navarre Raider Band!!!

We are delighted to welcome you to the Navarre Raider Band community, one of the largest organizations on campus. Established in [Year], the band has a rich history of excellence in both marching and concert performances, under the guidance of our dedicated Band Director Dean Barrow, Assistant Band Director Ryan Murphy, and Percussion Instructors Hanna Castleman and Markel Patterson, and Color Guard Instructor Melissa Travis.

With over 130 members, the band participates in a range of marching-related and concert-related events and competitions, such as the Bands of America, Andalusia Marching Festival, and Troy Marching Festivals, to name a few. Our band has received many Superior ratings since its formation, and we continue to strive towards more challenging music and competitions to help our students achieve their highest musical potential.

As an integral part of Navarre High School, the band attends and performs at all football games, pep rallies, and in a variety of other public athletic events. We foster an expectation for excellence and create a community where students can flourish and form lasting connections that encourage hard work, a positive attitude, and confidence.

We invite you to consider joining our program and becoming a part of this vibrant and supportive community. We welcome you to the Navarre Raider Band and look forward to seeing you succeed and thrive in our program.

Uniform & Shoe Fitting
June 3rd. - 5th. - 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Playground Music will be here for any student needing to purchase
new marching band shoes. The cost is $46 and checks should be made payable to 
​Playground Music Center

Summer "In-Town" Full Band Rehearsals
July 15th., 17th., 22nd., and 24th.
If you are "In-Town" we expect you to be at rehearsal.

*Band Camp Week #1
Monday, July 28th. - Friday, Aug 1st. - 1 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Car-Wash-A-Thon
Saturday, Aug. 2nd. - 8am-6pm (Shifts)

*Band Camp Week #2
Monday, Aug 4th. - Friday, August 8th.* 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.

*Wednesday, July 31st., will have the following schedule. 
Band Pictures 9am-2pm (There will be no make-ups)
Students are free to leave after they have had their group, sectional, and individual pics made. 


*EVERYONE MUST ATTEND BAND CAMP IN ORDER TO BE IN THE SHOW!!!

Car-Wash-A-Thon
Saturday, Aug. 2nd. - 8am-6pm (Shifts)

Summer attendance policy:
If you are in town and you have band practice - BE THERE! If you have a job, ask for the time of now, while you have plenty of time to work it out. Remember, “work” is not an excuse to miss rehearsals.
