Spring Rehearsals
New Member/Parent Meetings
Tuesday, May 5th, and Thursday, May 7th.
6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Hey Future Raider Band Members!
We are excited to invite all incoming 8th-grade students, as well as anyone interested in joining the band, to our spring rehearsals! This is going to be a fun event, and we can’t wait to see you there! Whether you know you’ll be joining the band at NHS or are still considering it, we wholeheartedly encourage you to come and check it out!
Don’t forget to bring your instrument, some water, and snacks to help keep your energy up! Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and athletic shoes, so you’ll be ready to have a blast!
By the way, if you're zoned for the new Soundside High School, we have some exciting news just for you! See you at the rehearsals! 🎶

Please plan to have at least one parent/guardian attend the meeting.
Join us in the gym for our upcoming meeting! We'll go over important paperwork for both students and volunteers, share what's new for this marching season, and talk about what it means to be part of our awesome band community. Please plan to have at least one parent or guardian attend with you—there's important info for everyone! Stick around after—we'll wrap things up with a short, fun performance by the band! We can't wait to see you there!
Summer Music Camp
Full Band Rehearsal
June 2nd - 4th, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Uniform & Shoe Fitting
From June 2nd to 4th, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Playground Music will be available to any student who needs to purchase new marching band shoes.
The cost is $46, and checks should be made payable to Playground Music Center.
Summer "In-Town" Full Band Rehearsals
For all members (Horns, Percussion, and Guard)
June 30th, July 2nd, 7th, 9th.
Rehearsals are from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
If you are "In-Town," we expect you to be at rehearsal.
*Band Camp
Monday, July 13th. - Friday, July 17th. 1st. 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Monday, July 20th. - Friday, 24th.* 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.
*Thursday, July 30th., will have the following schedule.
Band Pictures Following Freshmen Day 1:15pm-until done (There will be no make-ups)
Students are free to leave after they have had their group, sectional, and individual pics made.
*EVERYONE MUST ATTEND BAND CAMP TO BE IN THE SHOW!!!
Car-Wash-A-Thon
Saturday, July 18th. - 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Shifts)
Summer attendance policy:
If you are in town and have band practice, BE THERE! If you have a job, ask for the time of now, while you have plenty of time to work it out. Remember, "work" is not an excuse to miss rehearsals.
