We are very proud of you!
Congratulations to Johnny Cooper, Erin Claire Freeman and Megan Rudman for being selected to the Troy University South Eastern United States (SEUS) Honor Band.
We are very proud of you! I am pleased to announce that this year's band portraits will be shot by Mrs. Kay Brown of Kay Brown Photography in Pace, FL. Kay is the official photographer of many of the local schools and their organizations as well as serving individuals and business throughout the area. Kay comes very highly recommended by my collegues as well as others I have talked to in the community. I hope this change to a "local" photographer will help alleviate many of the problems we faced with the last company. We will have our band portraits made next Wednesday, Dec. 14th., at the band hall. The individual portraits will make up the large composite picture that is placed on the wall of the band hall. In order for things to run smoothly, I need a few things to happen.
The pricing list is here. Here is the current list for the Peter White concert this coming Saturday, Dec. 10th.
If you plan on going, please make sure your name is on the list. For those of you driving, we will meet to pass out tickets at the box office starting at 6:45pm. I will wait for you until 7:00pm. Please do not be late. We still have about 15 students who could use a ride and make it so that we do not need to pay for a bus. If you are a parent and have extra room for students, please complete this form. See you at the concert! db- Ticket List We have made some changes in the Band Store that will hopefully make it easier for you to order the items you need and get them in a more timely manner.
Starting today, when you click on the "STORE" tab, you'll notice that there are two additional tabs. The first is "Merchandise" and is where you can make your fair share contributions, buy band jackets, pay for meal deals etc. The second tab is "Member Necessities" and is where you can purchase the every day items our members need. Buy ordering this way, you'll no longer have to wait for us to take a bulk order and your items will be shipped directly to your home. You can check out the new tabs here. As always, we hope this makes things a little easier for you! dean- Wow! What a great game last Friday! It was tough to see the Raiders lose a game but what an awesome season! I want to say a huge thank you to all of the parent volunteers that helped in concessions and directly with the students. We are lucky to have your support! Many people think that the band slows down this time of year and to a certain point, it does. There are no football games and we no longer have marching band. We now split into three different groups, concert bands, indoor percussion and winterguard. Something is going on at the band hall until about 9pm 5 days a week! Some of our students a members of multiple groups too. Because there is so much going on, it is imperative that you keep an eye on our calendar. It is the only scheduling source that you should check for band related events. All of our groups should use it and you, as a parent or student, are not bound by any other calendar, group chat, FB group or soial media. This website, our Charms Calendar along with the Remind Text sent out by myself and our staff are the official information sources of the Navarre Raider Band. We do everything we can do keep it VERY up to date so that it is reliable for you. Please take time to look at it at least once a week. (I suggest Sunday afternoons) Thanks again for an awesome marching season! dean- |
